On a new commercial build, the roof is the milestone that lets every other trade get to work. Until the building is dried in, interior framing, mechanical, electrical and finish work all wait. KC The Best Roofing Co, LLC works as a roofing subcontractor on new construction across the Kansas City metro, and our crews are staffed and scheduled to hit the dry-in date the general contractor committed to.

We install complete low-slope systems on new decks: insulation and cover board, the specified membrane — TPO, EPDM, modified bitumen or asphaltic — and all associated sheet metal. Because we fabricate our own flashing, coping and trim, the metal details arrive cut for your building rather than ordered generic and forced to fit on site.

New construction brings coordination that repair work does not: curb layout for rooftop units, penetration locations for plumbing and electrical, drain and scupper placement, and inspection sign-offs. We coordinate directly with the GC and the mechanical trades so penetrations are flashed correctly the first time and nothing has to be reopened after the membrane is down.

We are MBE certified in both Kansas and Missouri, which can be decisive on publicly funded and institutional projects carrying supplier-diversity requirements, and we are a GAF Master Commercial Roofing contractor. We have more than 30 years of commercial and industrial experience behind our bids and we bring that documentation to the pre-construction meeting.
