COMMERCIAL FLAT ROOF REPLACEMENT

A commercial flat roof replacement is a twenty-year decision made once, usually under budget pressure. KC The Best Roofing Co, LLC has been installing low-slope roof systems on Kansas City commercial and industrial buildings for more than 30 years, and we quote replacements with the detail an owner or property manager needs in order to defend the spend.

We install TPO, EPDM, modified bitumen and asphalt systems, and we recommend the one that suits your deck, your rooftop equipment and your budget rather than the one that is easiest for us. TPO gives you a highly reflective, heat-welded membrane. EPDM handles Kansas City's freeze-thaw swings and can be ballasted, mechanically fastened or fully adhered. Modified bitumen holds up to foot traffic on roofs with heavy service access. Asphaltic built-up systems remain sound and cost-effective on the right building.

A REPLACEMENT IS A TWENTY-YEAR DECISION. WE QUOTE IT LIKE ONE.

A replacement is only as good as its edges. Every tear-off we perform includes inspection of the deck and insulation, correction of drainage problems while the roof is open, and new fabricated metal at the terminations — coping, counterflashing, curbs, scuppers and drain details. This is the work that never shows up in a photo and is the reason a roof reaches its warranty.

We phase replacements so your building keeps operating. On apartment complexes we work building by building; on schools we sequence to summer breaks; on shopping centers we re-roof storefront by storefront without closing a tenant. As a GAF Master Commercial Roofing contractor and a Versico installer, we can specify manufacturer-backed warranty systems where a project calls for them.

We are MBE certified in both Kansas and Missouri, which matters on public, institutional and supplier-diversity projects across the metro. Call (913) 677-4300 for a free, no-obligation quote on your flat roof replacement.
